Many of Nintendo fans have been wondering what the new or rumored NX will be like.  In recent news, new Nintendo President announced that the NX will not be an upgraded Wii U, it will be a total different console.

“I can assure you we’re not building the next version of Wii or Wii U,” Kimishima explained in an interview with Time. “It’s something unique and different. It’s something where we have to move away from those platforms in order to make it something that will appeal to our consumer base.

As many of us already know from the rumors is that the NX could possibly be a hybrid in a matter of speaking, allowing the console to be a home console and a on the go, in other words a mobile system. In my opinion having a mobile console hybrid may be good but at the same time may not be that good. Think about power consumption, and if they are talking about having better quality games to compete with PS4 and Xbox One then I’m sure the console will be better of connected to a power outlet rather than having a mobile side with a huge battery, just imagine how big can the handheld be to keep it at least a minimum of 3 hours under a battery? But who knows with this times technology maybe there is out there a new battery technology to have a small battery that last longer.

But all we can do is wait for 2016 to hear more news and possibly concept pictures or real pictures from their first production test, since they say they expect to make 10-12 million as noted in the article here, I just wonder if the unit is already on production or they will start once they announce it, whatever the case may be I’m ready for it and I just hope is not a flop and is well worth our money.
