Did you ever play the Guitar Hero and Rock Band back in the days? Back in the days sounds like a long time, but remember in technology a few months is like years, and a couple of years could feel like decades, actually is been 10 years since the first Guitar Hero came out! See time does go by fast. Well the article is about Rock Band so lets focus on that.
Rock Band was a good contender against Guitar Hero mainly because it allowed other players to play together as a band. Allowing other players to share a moment to feel rock stars was a great feeling, a singer, guitar, keyboard and drum player all together playing to the tune of the song, even though some of us weren’t as good with an specific instrument lol. I only played rock band a few times, I lied to play the guitar because I was way better than my friends, but with only 3 instruments in our case and about 7 friends, it was hard being the only guitar player.
The best part of the game besides acting as a rock star is of course playing your favorite tunes, since Rock Band came out 2 years later than Guitar Hero, most of my favorite tracks were on Guitar Hero and that is another reason why I stayed away from Rock Band. But as some of us know, Rock Band and Guitar Hero are coming back up with a new game, maybe to get the younger generation, the list of some songs from Rock Band 4 and listing some of my favorite bands first are, Aerosmith “Toys in the Attic”, Dream Theater “Metropolis, Pt. 1: The Miracle and the Sleeper”, Judas Priest “Halls of Valhalla” , Ozzy “Miracle Man” and Foo Fighters “The Feast and the Famine” among others of course.
